360º interactive presentations.

At Scan3D we are dedicated to scanning objects, we usually deal with objects from a medium size and even very small, a few centimeters. It is delicate to determine what one characteristic means and the other, but we can get an idea.

High definition 3D scanning allows us to have the exact shape and measurements of the object, as well as its texture and color. The error that a 3D scanning can afford can be 0.1 mm.

The applications for which we would like to carry out a 3D scanning process are diverse: reverse engineering, 2D renderization (flat) image within an interior design project, contextualization (photo-montage) on a real photographic environment, observation and careful analysis of the object scanned around it interactively, among many other applications.

Here we show some examples of this last application, the possibility of observing the objects around it 360º interactively through the screen of any device, for the detailed study -or simply the observation- of its shape, relief or realistic texture colors.

Also its topology, that is, the organization of polygons and vertices in the 3D mesh of the object, whether these polygons are square or triangular. The more polygons a 3D mesh has, the more digital weight in MB (megabytes) the base file has and, therefore, the slower it is loaded on the device in which we want to use it. Is for this reason that is very important to optimize the 3D mesh of the processed object (scanned), with the minimum necessary polygons and the greatest possible detail in the textures, both for color, relief, brightness, etc., which are what will define its visual accuracy.

These interactive 3D presentations can be included in any web page in a simple way, just as we have done in ours one… or surely better.
We trust you like them.
